The Holiday Season is a good opportunity to take a break from our everyday pressures …
An especially good time to count our blessings …
An appropriate time to say “Thanks Sincerely” for our many great clients, friends and family members who make the rest of the year really enjoyable.
I hope everyone has a happy, healthy and SAFE Thanksgiving Weekend.
Warmest Wishes,
Tom Bello
As many of us celebrate this holiday weekend by grilling out, going to a BBQ, sunning at the beach or doing other fun things, millions of people will be visiting cemeteries all across the nation laying flowers at the … graves of their loved ones and dreaming of what could have been.
Like the parent who lost a child on the battlefield, or the spouse whose partner is suddenly gone, or the children who will never know their mom or dad – it’s heartbreaking. And, it blows me away to think of all those selfless souls that sacrificed their happiness and safety for our security.
It also makes me very sad because they served this country and then did not live to enjoy the same privileges that we are enjoying today. It’s really because of their sacrifices that I can sit here and freely write about them this morning.
To me, they are the “true heroes” in this world and should ALWAYS be remembered and honored that way.
Happy Memorial Day.
I’m just a phone call (or email) away …

The Fourth is an extremely patriotic holiday and many of us might dress up in red, white and blue, hang a flag out front and blow off a few fireworks, but do we really know what the true meaning behind our flag is?
The Fourth of July is a celebration of America’s declaration from Great Britain (and sheer determination from our forefathers) to establish the USA as a free country that was made on July 4, 1776.
One Fourth of July quote says,
“During the American Revolution, the legal separation of the American colonies from Great Britain occurred on July 2, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence that had been proposed in June by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia. After voting for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a Committee of Five, with Thomas Jefferson as its principal author. Congress debated and revised the Declaration, finally approving it on July 4.”
I hope everybody has a SAFE and happy weekend and please don’t forget to take a moment out of your day on Monday to be appreciative for the freedom and liberty that we all enjoy here in America.
I know I will.

Digital printing is a perfect solution for short run print projects (usually less than 1000 quantity) on full color items such as; tickets, business cards, postcards, flyers, signage, brochures and many other printed pieces.
The Sheraton and Westin Hotel Beach Resorts in Ft. Lauderdale know exactly how to save money on high quality, short run, full color printing like the tickets below.

… do not “try” to keep them. Big difference!
The word “try” is an excuse for getting out of keeping your word and it usually means that you will not deliver what you promised, period.
I have many vendors and suppliers that use the word “try” when we are discussing a project and as soon as I hear that word, I interupt them by saying; “okay, so you’re not going to deliver it when you say you will” and it catches them off guard every time.
They usually respond with something like “why would you say that?” and I tell them the same thing that the word “try” means no and I would rather hear the truth of a “yes or no” than the word “try”.
You will either deliver what you promise or you won’t. It’s that simple.
The same rule applies to appointments, deadlines, meetings and personal commitments – Think first before you promise because there is nothing that annoys a person more than a broken promise.
At Red Rock, WE DELIVER WHAT WE PROMISE!

“Ask and you shall receive” is the best sales advice for sales professionals today. A great sales pitch will not yield you the same results unless you ASK for the business.
Is this just for sales people?
No, it is actually for all of us. Many people do not think of themselves as salespeople, but, one way or another, we are always selling ourselves (or our ideas) everyday.
Selling, broken down to it’s most basic form, is simply matching the benefits of something to the needs and desires of another.
But, what is often missing in many sales presentations is the final close… i.e. asking for the order.
I have been on many sales presentations where the salesperson did a great job in making a presentation and at the end of the meeting, saying something vague like “have a nice day” or “I’ll see you soon” and then walking away. They never asked for the order!
We’re asking you to try Red Rock on your next print project!
